Bronx children found safe, Amber Alert canceled

NEW YORK – A statewide Amber Alert has been cancelled after authorities confirm the children have been found safe.

According to police, Mlyliah, 2, and Nahzir Edwards, 5, were taken from their Bronx home by 29-year-old Fitz Edwards.

Police said the alert was cancelled around noon Sunday, when the children were found in the car in Harlem. Authorities are still searching for Fitz Edwards.
