Facebook last week released another user experience change designed to increase users activity with Pages which allows Fans to see all activity from a Page. Samuel Junghenn founder of Web Marketing Company Think Big Online says this is positive news for business owners.

“Over the last few months I’ve constantly been recommending businesses set up their own Facebook Page. This new test if implemented would make it a lot easier for Page Owners to show their posts across their user accounts. The change would hopefully lead to greater engagement in the page and higher ROI for page owners.” Said Mr Junghenn.

According to AllFacebook the change was made on the back of complaints from users who wanted to be notified on all updates made by a page. The change allows Fans of a page to opt in to receive notifications from that page for each update that page makes.

These updates are contained in a separate feed called Pages, which separates it from the current feed and makes it easier for fans to locate the messages.

“When this rolls out to all users and all pages it would be great functionality and actually add more appeal to businesses driving likes. It’s basically like getting your email delivered into an inbox guaranteed, your updates will now get seen and not lost amongst other updates.” Said Mr Junghenn.
