Burglaries in residential area of Saratoga exceed $100,000 value

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Three separate residential burglaries on Westbury Drive in Saratoga Springs have the Police Department asking for the public's assistance in locating the burglars responsible.

Police say the burglaries occurred on the night of Friday, November 16th, between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m.

The homes were unoccupied at the time of the burglaries, and the burglars entered the homes through forced entry, using side and rear doors.

Items taken include gold coins, gold bars, silver, jewelry, international currency including Swiss Francs and various electronic items including an iPhone, mac-book, iPad and Nikon camera.

The value of the items stolen well exceeds $100,000 dollars.

If anyone was in the Westbury Drive area on the night of Friday, November 16th, and noticed anything suspicious, they are asked to call the Saratoga Springs Police Department at (518) 584-1800 or 584-TIPS.
