ALBANY, N.Y. – According to Albany Police, one woman is dead after a two-car collision.
The accident occurred at the corner of Delaware Avenue and Dana Avenue in Albany, shortly before 4:50 p.m. Friday.
Albany Police spokesperson Steve Smith told NEWS10 the collision was low-impact, but in one of the vehicles a 37-year-old woman was found unresponsive at the wheel and taken to Albany Med. She was later pronounced dead.
A cause of death has not been issued and investigators still on the scene. Delaware Avenue between Jefferson Street and Elm Street are closed for a few hours as investigators recreate the incident.
