Voorheesville man gets eight years for attempted kidnapping

VOORHEESVILLE, N.Y. - A Voorheesville man was sentenced to eight years in prison Friday after pleading guilty to attempted kidnapping.

Between February and April of 2012, 53-year-old James Hennesey arranged for the kidnapping of a business associate for ransom.

During that time, Hennesey forced the intended victim to come up with $400,000.
