Washington Co. nursing home bought by NYC company

WASHINGTON COUNTY, N.Y. - Washington County has found a buyer for its county-owned nursing home, Pleasant Valley or PVI.

Centers for Specialty Care, a New York City company, has signed an agreement to buy the facility.

The deal has yet to be finalized and New York State has to approve transferring the home's license to the new company.

It could take a year before that goes through.
