CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. -- State police have arrested a Glenville man who, they say, approaced a child inside a bathroom stall.

Troopers arrested 51-year old Scott Phillips last week.

According to the State Police's press release, Phillips was in a bathroom at Clifton Park-area sports complex, when he allegedly opened the door to a stall being used by a 12-year old child, walked inside, and then closed the door behind him.

At this point, the release states the child quickly pulled up their pants and Phillps told them to stop and "let (him) look."

Troopers say the child was able to quickly exit the bathroom with no interference by Phillips.

If you have any information regarding this incident, or of any similar incident involving Phillips, you're asked to call State Police in Clifton Park at (518) 383-8583.
