Albany girl, 15, on bicycle hit by car

ALBANY, N.Y. - The Albany Police Department is investigating an accident Monday night in which a 15-year-old girl riding a bicycle was hit by a car.

Police say the accident happened on Central Avenue near King Avenue shortly after 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The girl was checked at the scene and appeared to be in okay condition.

Albany Police Department Spokesperson Steve Smith could not confirm whether or not the accident was a hit-and-run.
