Search still on for the suspect in an Albany shooting that left one wounded
ALBANY, N.Y. - Police in Albany are still investigating a Monday night shooting that left a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
The call came in just after 7:30 p.m. Monday night that a shooting had occurred on the 100 block of Second Avenue, between Putnam and Moore Streets. The victim was not identified, but he was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital for treatment to his non-life threatening injuries.
Though initial reports indicated that the shooter may have gone into a home on the street, after police shut down the road and investigated the home, no one was inside.
The search and investigation are ongoing Tuesday morning.
