ALBANY, N.Y. - At around 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, a car that failed to stop at a stop-light on Madison Avenue slammed into an SUV going down Quail Street through a green-light, causing the SUV that had been struck to roll over and slide on its roof into the windshield of a CDTA public bus, shattering it.
A Honda Sedan travelling westbound down Madison Avenue went through a red-light and crashed into an SUV that was travelling northbound on Quail Street.
The SUV rolled over and slid on its roof into a CDTA public bus that was travelling southbound on Quail Street.
The driver of the Honda was transported to Albany Memorial Hospital with head pain, and was ticketed with not stopping at a red-light, and failure to yield.
The driver of the SUV was transported to Albany Medical Center with minor scratches and bruising.
The driver of the CDTA bus, a female, was transported to Albany Medical Center with glass in her eyes.
