RENSSELAER COUNTY, N.Y. - K-9 crime fighters put their skills to the test today in Rensselaer County.
Animal units from around New York and as far as Massachusetts and Connecticut gathered together for a group training day.
The teams run through a gambit of operations, including riot control with horses, and bite work - where K-9's take down the bad guys.
The Rensselaer County Sheriff's Department hosted the training and says it's a great way for groups to learn from one another.
The teams hold training days like these four times a year.
