SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - On Friday, November 9th, the New York Lottery's Gretchen Dizer presented a $3,000,000 ceremonial prize-check to Warren County's newest lottery millionaire.
The '$100,000,000 Spectacular Scratch-Off Game' produced a winning ticket for lucky Bolton Landing resident, Jason Lamb.
Lamb, a self-employed contractor, regularly buys a scratch-off ticket and a coffee at the Stewart's on Lake Shore Drive in Bolton Landing on his way to work.
Sean, a friend of Jason Lamb's, said, "Jason always says: 'If we win a million dollars, we aren't working today'," as he scratches away at the ticket.
Lamb forgot to make this statement on the morning of October 18th, as he silently scratched away the multi-million dollar winning ticket.
Lamb said that he will put the money he won toward his contracting business, and also use it to send his mother to Hawaii to visit his brother, who is serving in the military.
The check was presented in the New York Lottery Headquarters at One Broadway Center in Schenectady, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
