ALBANY, N.Y. - On Friday, November 9th, the only surviving version of Abraham Lincoln's Preliminary Emancipation Proclamation in Lincoln's handwriting will be unveiled to the public in Albany's New York State Museum.
Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation, as well as the manuscript of a speech delivered in 1962 by Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior, will be on display in the museum at 222 Madison Avenue.
The exhibition will be on display in the lobby on November 9th and 10th, from 9:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. and is free to the public.
