Man charged with sexual abuse of child in Greenwich

GREENWICH, N.Y. - On Thursday, 55-year-old Alfred Burch of Greenwich, was arrested and charged with inappropriate sexual contact and sexual abuse of a child less than eleven years old.

The child was an acquaintance of Burch.

Burch was arraigned before Greenwich Town Justice Blake, and remanded to the Washington County Jail.

An investigation by Greenwich State Police is ongoing.
