New York City subways fare well against latest storm

NEW YORK (AP) - Some 10 to 20 minute delays have been reported on Metro-North trains into Grand Central Terminal.
But the railroad says that, overall, service for New York City's northern suburbs has fared well following the latest storm.
Metro-North was working to run on its regular schedule Thursday.
Railroad spokesman Sal Arena says it's always wise to allow extra time after storms.
Sometimes the trains are delayed by signal, power or traction problems.
In Connecticut, buses are still connecting New Canaan commuters with the New Haven line.
