LIVINGSTON, N.Y. - The Colombia County Sheriff's Office says a 60-year-old man has been arrested after an 8-year-old female told her mother he had inappropriately touched her.
The Sheriff's Office says Anthony Buffa, of Maple Lane in Livingston, was arrested last Friday afternoon after an investigation. Officers say in mid-October the young girl told her mother Buffa, a family friend who lived near the victim's residence, touched her inappropriately. The girl's mother then alerted the Sheriff's Department.
Buffa has been charged with Sexual Abuse 1st-degree, a felony, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Forcible Touching, both misdemeanors, and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $10,000.00 cash or $20,000.00 bail
bond.
