ALBANY, N.Y. - The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at SUNY Albany opened their doors to children and adults on Saturday, allowing the public a firsthand look into the world of nanotechnology.

The open house community day kicked off the college's celebration of 'Nano-vember,' a month-long educational initiative that includes a series of events and activities showcasing nanotechnology and encouraging community involvement.

The UAlbany College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering is located at 257 Fuller Road in Albany.

This upcoming Monday, November 5th at 6:30 p.m., the college will be hosting a free community lecture as a continuation of the initiative.

Dr. Andres Melendez, CNSE Professor and Associate Head of the Nanobioscience Constellation, will discuss the impact of nanotechnology on the aging process.
