ALBANY, N.Y. - Saturday, November 3rd, the Albany City Clerk's Office opened up the second round of applications for residential parking permits.
Residents within Zone A, which includes Washington Park, Center Square, Park South and Hudson/Park neighborhoods, had their first opportunity to register for the parking program.
Residents who live in Zones A, B or C could apply for their permits in person at the City Clerk's Office, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Permits cost $25, and allow residents to park all day on streets in their neighborhood.
To be eligible, residents must present a valid driver's license, a vehicle registration card, and proof of residency, such as a mortgage, tax statement, or utility bill.
The third and final date for registration is Saturday, November 17th, during which time applications for permits throughout Zones A, B and C will be accepted.
