ALBANY, N.Y. - The Capital District's Code Blue project is gearing up for its third season starting November 15th.
Code Blue is an outreach program aimed at the transport and shelter of the Capital District's homeless during extreme winter weather.
The participating agencies include law enforcement, area shelters, and the CDTA.
A code blue is called when the temperature drops below 10 degrees with wind-chill or more than a foot of snow forecasted.
Last winter the program housed 75 adults over a 14-night period.
