Investigators still looking for clues in Jaliek Rainwalker case

Posted: Updated:

GREENWICH, N.Y. - It's been five years since 12-year-old Jaliek Rainwalker disappeared from a relative's home in Washington County.

Investigators for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children were in the area last week looking for any new clues into his disappearance.

A former FBI profiler and a retired homicide detective worked with local and state police, combing through the case - beginning with the days just before Jaliek vanished.

Jaliek was 12-years-old when he disappeared in Washington County on November 1, 2007 after his adoptive father, Stephen Kerr, picked him up from Altamont.

Police say Kerr was the last person to see Jaliek, and remains a person of interest in the case though no charges have been filed.

The family has since moved away from their Greenwich home.
