3 arrested for firing shots in Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. - On Wednesday afternoon, Pittsfield Police responded to John Street for reports of shots fired.

Police say they have arrested three suspects allegedly responsible for firing multiple shots, hitting one vehicle at the scene, around the area of 47 John Street around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Witnesses were able to give police descriptions of the three suspects and approximately 30 minutes after the initial report, they were stopped and arrested in the area of First Street.

Arrested was 21-year-old Nathaniel Marksman, 17-year-old Christohper Grant and one unnamed juvenile. They have each been charged with three counts of Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon and one count of Vandalism.
