First annual Health & Wellness Expo, 5K Race held at Albany College

ALBANY, N.Y. - The first annual Health & Wellness Expo, co-sponsored by Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and MVP Health Care, was held Saturday.

The event was packed with free health services for the public, including:

medication take-back
medication consultation with pharmacist
health screenings and assessments
educational sessions
farmer's market
healthy food samples
blood drive

The event aimed to promote healthy living and eating. The Health & Wellness Expo highlighted the importance of being well and maintaining good health. Participants learned their numbers and the state of their health with free screenings, assessments, and educational sessions.
