Celebrating the World in Albany on Sunday

Where can you sample food from China, India and Nigeria; tap your toes with dancers from Greece, Israel and Ukraine; listen to music from Italy, Pakistan and Puerto Rico; plus buy handicrafts from more than a dozen other nations?

The 41^st Festival of Nations kicks off at noon on Sunday, October 28^th at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany.

The annual event showcases cultural diversity in a feast for the senses. Dozens of nations will celebrate their traditions as the community comes together for this family oriented festival. One highlight is the annual Miss Festival of Nations contest, where 21 young women are competing for scholarships.

General admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children 3-12.
