BETHLEHEM, N.Y. - A brief lockdown was put in place on Wednesday at Bethlehem High School after school officials received word of a trespasser on school grounds claiming to be a transfer student.
Students stayed in classrooms for approximately 15 minutes as Bethlehem Police and school staff tried to locate the individual.
The individual left school property and the Bethlehem School District is now working with the Bethlehem Police Department in the matter to ensure student safety. The district posted on their website that "safety of our students remains my foremost concern."
