COLONIE, N.Y. - On Tuesday night, the Town of Colonie Planning Board unanimously accepted application to demolition Latham Circle Mall.
Around 25-30 citizens attended the Planning Board meeting which ran late into Tuesday night where the application for concept acceptance was approved. However, this is not the final say.
Now the developer will need to come back to the board with more details. They are looking to raze the existing mall and replace the structure with 372,646 square-feet of new retail space and two out-parcels totaling 16,000 square-feet. The developer plans to call the new space "Shoppes at Latham Circle."
