Schen. Co. BOE to hold extended hours leading up to election

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Leading up to Election Day, the Schenectady County Board of Elections says it is holding extended hours to help answer all of residents' voting questions.

During the extended hours, voters can go to the board of elections, on Broadway in Schenectady, for voting machine demonstrations and help on casting absentee ballots.

You have until October 30th to request an absentee ballot by mail, from there, people can cast their absentee ballot at the county BOE, during regular business hours, until November 5th.

Extended Hours For Absentee Voting and Machine Demonstrations:

  • TUESDAY, October 23 (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
  • SATURDAY, October 27 (9 a.m. to noon)
  • THURSDAY, November 1 (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
  • SATURDAY, November 3 (9 a.m. to noon)
