Schenectady holds fifth Gun Buy Back program at Church of God

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Schenectady County Sheriff's Office is holding its fifth Gun Buy Back program, this time at the Church of God on State Street.

The gun buy back runs from 3:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The initiative offers families a chance to benefit from the safe removal and destruction of unwanted or illegal weapons throughout the County.

The program has accumulated 32 handguns, 42 rifles and 11 non-working guns.
