Man shot overnight in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. - A 28-year-old man from Brooklyn was injured by a blast of bird shot on South Pearl Street on Saturday night.

The man was treated on the scene by firefighters, and was afterward taken to Albany Medical Center for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

The shooting happened around 2:00 a.m. on the 100 block of South Pearl Street in Albany.

The incident is under investigation, and the suspect has not been apprehended.
