DUANESBURG, N.Y. – State Police have arrested a man for DWI and driving without a license following an accident on I-88 in the Town of Duanesburg Friday.
Aaron T. Berge, 29, of Otego, N.Y., stated he had fallen asleep while driving and struck the median guiderail which caused his vehicle to go into a spin, coming to rest in the middle of the westbound lanes.
He was arrested by Princetown State Police and transported to SP Princetown for processing where he refused to submit to a chemical test.
He was charged with Felony DWI due to a prior DWI conviction and Felony AUO due to his license being revoked for the prior DWI conviction.
Berge was arraigned in the Town of Duanesburg Court and remanded to the Schenectady County Jail.
