Vt. State Police property stolen out of driveway

BENNINGTON, Vt. – State Police in Vermont are asking for the public's help to recover a license plate stolen from a police cruiser.

The plate was taken from a Vermont State Police Cruiser while it sat in the driveway of a Trooper's residence in the Bennington area. The theft is thought to have occurred during the night of October 19th into the 20th.

The plate is labeled 'Vermont State Police' and has the lettering of 428. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact Trooper Justin Walker of the Shaftsbury Barracks.
