SCHODACK, N.Y. - A structure fire occurred at The Lighthouse Ice Cream and Deli at 1607 Columbia Turnpike in Schodack on Saturday at approximately 12:40 p.m.
East Greenbush Fire Department responded and remained on the scene, extinguishing the fire until approximately 2:40 p.m.
The fire caused structural damage to the second floor apartment, but no damage to the first-floor ice cream parlor.
The fire is not being considered suspicious, but the cause remains unknown and investigation is ongoing.
There were no injuries.
