Whooping cough confirmed at Bethlehem High School

BETHLEHEM, N.Y. - A Bethlehem High School student has come down with whooping cough.

A notice on the school district's website says the student has already been treated, but because the sickness is so contagious, the district is warning parents to be on the lookout for warning signs.

They include cold-like symptoms that become worse after one-to-two weeks, especially at night.
