Two Elizaville men arrested in child porn investigation

Elizaville, NY – An investigation into child pornography has led to the arrest of two men in Elizaville, NY.

The investigation began in August 2012 when information was recieved by the task force indicating 28-year-old Zachery Slater was downloading child pornography on his computer.

As a result of the investigation, Assistant US Attorney Lisa Fletcher obtained a search warrant from Federal Judge Randolph Treece of the Federal District Court in Albany.

A federal search warrant was served at Slater's home on Parker Road, Elizaville on Thursday, October 18th.

While executing the search warrant a second man, 54-year-old Neil Dumville, also from Parker Road, Elizaville was found to be in possession of child pornography.

Both Slater and Dumville were taken into custody by task force officers, transported to Albany where Slater was charged with the federal charge of Distribution, Receiving and Possession of Child Pornography.

Dumville was charged with the federal charge of Receiving and Possessing Child Pornography.

Arraigned in Federal District Court in Albany, both Slater and Dumville were detained by United States Marshalls pending a detention hearing that was scheduled for Friday afternoon.
