GUILDERLAND, N.Y. - On Tuesday, a day-time residential burglary occurred to a home on West Lydius Street.
There was forced entry to the residence, and jewelry and money was stolen.
Then on Wednesday, a Guilderland Police Officer on patrol came across a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Crossgates Mall.
After checking the vehicle and its occupants, several pieces of jewelry that were taken during the burglary were found in the vehicle.
24-year-old Jeremy D. Knoblauch, of 463 Shannon Street in Schenectady, was arrested and charged with Burglary, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle.
Knoblauch was arraigned before Town Justice John Bailey and remanded to Albany County Correctional Facility without bail, pending further action in court.
