Police: Home invasion suspects still at large

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Schenectady Police Department is investigating a home invasion on Kelton Avenue which left one resident shot in the abdomen.

Police say the invasion occurred at 43 Kelton Avenue around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday night.

The resident, 20-year-old Unique King, reported two men entered the apartment armed with a handgun, demanding money. King was shot once while attempted to disarm the suspect, and was transported to Ellis Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects are both described as being tall black males, last seen wearing hoodies and masks.
