Traffic stop leads to rape arrest in Clifton Park

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - A traffic stop in Clifton Park resulted in a Schenectady man being arrested for second degree rape.

State police say 32-year-old James Weidaw III was with his alleged victim at the time.

They say he had sexual intercourse at his residence on Van Vranken Avenue with the female, who is under 15 years of age.
