WRIGHT - In Schoharie County a former highway supervisor has been arrested for stealing more than 8,000 gallons of diesel fuel.
State police say during his time as the supervisor for the town of wright, 54-year-old Harry Beninati told town employee's to stop filling out fuel logs.
They say because the logs weren't complete, town officials were not able to account for fuel purchases.
Because he was allegedly falsifying business with the intent to commit another crime, it is now a felony charge.
