VERMONT - A private fundraising group has given more than $2 million to Vermonters affected by tropical storm Irene.
Officials at Vermont's long term disaster relief fund say they still have $2 million more to give, but that may not be enough to meet the ongoing demand for assistance.
So far the group has helped 195 people rebuild their homes and lives, but the applications just keep rolling in - with several hundred cases still being processed.
