Brown, Warren pick up endorsements in senate race

Mass. - In the hotly contested race for the U.S. Senate seat in Massachusetts, Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren is hoping to keep the momentum in her campaign going by releasing an endorsement statement from President Obama.

Obama noted the Harvard Law School professor's role in creating a new federal consumer watchdog agency in Washington.

Meanwhile, incumbent Republican Senator Scott Brown is set to pick up the endorsements of the union representing Massachusetts State Police troopers, and a national organization representing state police officers.
