NISKAYUNA, N.Y. – Congregation Agudat Achim holds its 34th Annual Carrot Festival Sunday while observing an impressive milestone.
The event follows the theme, "Celebrating 120 Years of Congregation at Agudat Achim" and includes a full day of entertainment.
A community service tent highlights 20 organizations that give back to the community, and plenty of local foods, dessert, and vendors lend to an open atmosphere.
But the true highlight of the festival is the signature Carrot Cake, including special gluten-free versions available this year.
The Schenectady County Sheriff's Department will also be on hand to provide safe child ID cards, and MVP Health Care along with MVP Generation Go and Radio Disney will also be in attendance.
A shuttle bus will operate from Iroquois Middle School from 11 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Congregation Agudat Achim is located at 2117 Union Street in Niskayuna, with the event lasting from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
