NEW YORK – Friday is the last day you can register to vote in New York State to be able to vote in the November 6th general elections.
The State Board of Elections says mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked no later than midnight Friday, October 12th. They must be received no later than Oct. 17th to be valid for this election.
People who want to register in person at local county boards or at state offices must do so no later than Friday.
Anyone who will be 18-years-old on Election Day can register.
Massachusetts voters have until Wednesday, October 17th, and Vermont residents must register by October 31st.
