Three busted in fake check cashing scheme

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - Three people police say were involved in a fake check cashing scheme have been arrested.

Police tell NEWS10 Gloria Dillenbeck, Bruce Jessop, and Amy Johnson got their hands on some fake payroll checks and cashed them.

The trio is accused of cashing 15 checks and pocketing more than $8000.

They face a host of charges including forgery, and police think more arrests could be made as their investigation continues.
