QUEENSBURY, N.Y. - A 40-year-old Queensbury man has been arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with a female under the age of 17-years-old.
The Warren County Sheriff's Office arrested Patrick McGarr Jr, of Ripley Place, and charged him with one count of Rape 3rd-degree, a felony.
The Sheriff's Office says during the month of September 2012 McGarr had sex with the young female, whom he was familiar with, in the town of Queensbury. They say there were no allegations of force during the incident.
McGarr
was arraigned in Queensbury Town
Court, and sent to the Warren County Correctional Facility, in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or
$5,000 bond.
