HUDSON, N.Y. - Police in the City of Hudson responded to the report of an armed robbery Tuesday night on Green Street.
Police officers responded to the scene around 11:15 p.m. near 1 Hudson City Center on Green Street in which two adult males, ages 41 and 59, were allegedly robbed of an undetermined amount of cash at "gun" point. Police say the weapon recovered during the investigation was a BB gun which looked like a real handgun.
Greenport Rescue also responded to assist the 41-year-old man who received a laceration to the side of his face.
Police began investigating, and a short time later found two 14-year-old males fitting the description of the suspects, one from Hudson the other from Greenport, who were detained by officers. Both were charged with two counts of Robbery 2nd-degree and were ordered to be held pending a future Family Court
date.
A third suspect, 18-year-old Anthony Price Baynes, of Hudson, was identified in the incident and located at 41 North 2nd Street. He is also being charged with two counts of Robbery 2nd-degree and remanded to the
Columbia County Jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
