SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Schenectady Police Department says after a lengthy investigation, a home on Van Vranken Avenue was raided Tuesday morning for the third time in the last 18 months.

The raid was executed at 1513 Van Vranken Avenue by members of Schenectady Police Department's Special Investigation Unit and Special Operations Squad, resulting in the arrest of 47-year-old Israel Torres, of Schenectady.

Police say a rifle, small amount of narcotics, and U.S. currency were seized in the raid.
