ALBANY, N.Y. - Wolff's Biergarten in downtown Albany hosted their 4th annual Oktoberfest Celebration on Saturday, October 6th from 11:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m.
Originally, Oktoberfest was a celebration of the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen on October 12th in 1810.
Today it is known as the 16-18 day beer festival held annually in Munich, Germany.
Wolff's Oktoberfest featured over 300 kegs, a Dachshund "Wiener-Dog" Race, a food tent with traditional German food and live music.
Wolff's Biergarten is located between North Ferry Street and Thatcher Street at 895 Broadway in North Albany.
