Free flu shots at several locations in North Adams, Mass during October

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – There will be several free flu vaccination clinics held in North Adams, Mass. during October.

The clinics are open to anyone 18 or older, and are provided by the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of Northern Berkshire.

Although there will be no charge for the shots, donations will be accepted to offset the cost of the clinics.

Clinics will be held on three separate days at different locations:

Spitzer Center in North Adams on Monday, October 15, from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Clarksburg Senior Center on Tuesday, October 23, from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
St. Joseph's Court in North Adams on Wednesday, October 31, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

The flu vaccine helps to protect individuals against three identified strains of flu.

An annual seasonal flu shot is recommended for anyone over the age of 65 or who has a chronic illness, and for those who wish to reduce the risk of contracting the flu this winter.
