Public workshop will lay out preliminary plans for Rt. 9J at Ferry Road

STUYVESANT – A public workshop focusing on the preliminary plans for improvements to Route 9J at Ferry Road will be held Friday.

The New York State Department of Transportation will host a second public workshop to share preliminary plans to make transportation improvements with the community.

Participants will have the opportunity to review the preliminary plan, ask questions, and provide input.

The workshop is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Stuyvesant Town Hall, 5 Sunset Drive, Stuyvesant, NY 12173.

The NYSDOT has stated that it is no longer considering options that would include acquisitions of occupied dwellings.
