ALBANY, N.Y. - Albany Police arrested a man they say committed multiple robberies at two pharmacies in the city earlier this month.
Police say 30-year-old Timothy O'Connor, of 826 Chestnut Street, walked into a Madison Avenue CVS on Sept. 6th around 9 p.m. where he displayed a hammer
and demanded money.
Police say O'Connor walked into the same CVS again on Sept. 18th at 5:40 p.m. when he walked up to the pharmacy counter, passed a note and demanded
medication.
Then on Sept. 19th at 9:15 a.m. he also allegedly demanded medication from the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Central Avenue
while displaying what appeared to be the handle of a black handgun.
O'Connor was identified Wednesday morning at Second and Judson Streets by a
patrol officer who recognized him from surveillance footage.
He is charged with two counts of Robbery 1st-degree and one count of Robbery 3rd-degree and has been remanded to the Albany County Jail.
