Free cat adoption weekend at Mohawk Hudson Humane Society

MENANDS, N.Y. - Through the weekend, the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society is offering free cats and kittens over 6-months-old and kittens under 6-months will be $25.

This is part of the shelter's "Fall Feline Flurry" in an effort to find cats of every breed, age and personality a loving new forever home.

Every kitten and cat ready for adoption has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, tested for feline leukemia, de-wormed, and treated with flea and tick preventative. All cats also go to their new homes with 30 days of pet insurance and a bag of Science Diet pet food.

Fall Feline Flurry pricing will be in effect at the Society, at 3 Oakland Avenue in Menands, at the satellite adoption centers in the PetSmart stores in Latham and Glenmont and the Petco in Clifton Park, as well as at Kia's Cause off-site adoption clinic being held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lazare Kia, 144 Wolf Road in Colonie.
